FollowUpSignal

HELP & ANSWERS

Straight answers about the way FollowUpSignal works.

A practical guide to lead management, capture, follow-up, reporting, billing and current product boundaries.

Getting started

What is FollowUpSignal?

FollowUpSignal helps service businesses capture enquiries, manage lead conversations, plan follow-ups and review recorded conversion patterns.

Who is it designed for?

Training centres are the initial focus. Education providers, consultants, coaches, agencies and other enquiry-led businesses may also find the workflow useful.

Is FollowUpSignal a CRM?

It includes CRM-style lead records and pipeline management, with added public capture, follow-up workflows and conversion reporting.

How do I get started?

Create a workspace from the Get started link, configure your business details and add or capture your first lead.

Leads and capture

Can I track where leads come from?

Public forms retain submitted source and UTM details when available. Reports use first-touch attribution and may show unknown or missing values.

What happens when someone enquires twice?

The public form flow can match an existing lead and record a repeat enquiry in its activity history without replacing its first-touch source.

Can I import leads?

A bulk import workflow is not currently advertised as available. You can add leads through the workspace or use a published public form.

Follow-up and integrations

Does FollowUpSignal support WhatsApp?

A WhatsApp Business Platform integration is supported when an owner configures provider credentials and approved templates. Messages require explicit WhatsApp consent, and delivery depends on provider confirmation.

Can it send emails?

Email workflows can use a configured Resend integration. Provider acceptance and delivery are distinct states; delivery updates depend on signed provider webhooks.

Do automations keep running when I close the browser?

Workflow jobs are stored in MongoDB and processed by a scheduled worker route. The operator must configure and monitor a production scheduler for runs to continue reliably.

Analytics

What can reports show?

Available reports cover funnel snapshots, sources and campaigns, objections, response and follow-up, forms, automation and recorded outcomes.

Do reports prove a campaign or automation caused a conversion?

No. The reports show associations and recorded outcomes. They do not establish that a particular activity caused a conversion.

Why can historical reports change?

Some conversion views use a lead's current status and conversion details, while some pipeline reports are current-state snapshots. See the analytics definitions in the product documentation.

Plans and privacy

How is pricing set?

New workspaces start with a five-day Starter trial. The configured monthly prices are ₦5,000 for Starter, ₦15,000 for Growth and ₦30,000 for Business. Each plan’s seat and resource limits are shown on the pricing page.

Are payments renewed automatically?

No. The current billing flow uses one-time payments for a selected period and manual renewal. No card is stored for automatic charges.

Can I cancel a paid plan?

An owner can turn off renewal. Access remains through the paid period. When it ends, workspace changes pause until the owner renews or chooses another plan. No refund terms are implied.

How is customer data handled?

The application processes account, workspace and lead data. Read the privacy page for the current data practices and limitations; the policy requires legal review before launch.

Can multiple team members use it?

Yes. Owners and admins can invite teammates from workspace settings. Each person has an individual account and role, and leads can be assigned to a teammate. Seat limits depend on the selected plan.
